New Hope of Cumberland Presbyterian of Madisonville Tennessee is a Veteran/Military Friendly Congregation who has always supported our veterans/military and their families. On July 21, 2019 New Hope’s Pastor David Koopman present Korean War Army Veteran, Ulysses Monday with the Republic of South Korea’s Ambassador For Peace Medal and Vet to Vet Tennessee’s Korean War Certificate of Honor after the Sunday service. Ulysses was extremely humble, happy and honored to have received the recognition.
We are grateful to the Korean Embassy in Washington D.C. and Mr. Soo Ha for making this presentation possible. We are blessed and grateful to Mr. Monday and his family for his service and sacrifice. God bless Mr. Monday. Here is a link to a few more photos.
